Preparing for class day
Arrive a few minutes early, bring a photo ID, and wear clothing you can comfortably kneel and move in. Skills practice happens on the floor.
Choosing the right course
Check the exact wording of your employer or school requirement. Provider level courses and workplace responder courses are not interchangeable.
Keeping certification current
Most certifications run two years. Plan renewal about a month before expiry so there is no gap in your credential.
Practicing between classes
Refresh the chain of survival, compression depth and rate, and the location of the AED at your workplace every few months.
