About this course
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS, is designed for healthcare professionals and emergency response personnel who direct or participate in the management of adult cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. ACLS builds on foundational life support knowledge and focuses on the coordinated management of serious adult cardiovascular emergencies.

ACLS may be appropriate for physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, emergency response personnel, critical care professionals, emergency department personnel and other eligible healthcare professionals working where adult cardiovascular emergencies may occur.
