About this course
Basic Life Support, or BLS, is designed for healthcare professionals and emergency response personnel who need to perform CPR and basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in facility and prehospital environments. BLS training focuses on the fundamental response skills that matter when a person experiences cardiac arrest or another life threatening emergency.
Who should take this course
BLS may be appropriate for nurses, physicians, healthcare providers, emergency medical personnel, healthcare students, clinical support personnel and other professionals whose roles require BLS certification. Participants should verify the specific certification requirements of their employer, school or professional organization before registering.
